PharmaSeq and WorldWide Medical Products in Distribution Deal

Monmouth Junction and Hamilton, NJ, June 1, 2013. PharmaSeq, Inc., and WorldWide Medical Products (WWMP) today announced a business arrangement for distribution of tagging and tracking solutions for small laboratory animals. The systems, which are based on PharmaSeq's patented p-Chips, injectors and readers, will be sold by WorldWide's sales force. The p-Chip® is a very small, light-activated electronic device that is implanted under the tail skin of each animal to provide a humane and highly reliable method to keep track of a key asset: experimental animals. Use of p-Chips to tag and track mice has been demonstrated to prevent the loss of valuable data, time, and resources. WWMP sales representatives will offer p-Chip systems to their customers along with their offering of high quality laboratory supplies.

Richard Morris, CEO of PharmaSeq, commented: "The appointment of WorldWide Medical Products as a distributor for our p-Chip tagging system represents a key milestone in our commercial development and we look forward to working with their organization to our mutual benefit."

David Spaventa, Director of Sales for WorldWide added: "The addition of PharmaSeq's patented p-Chip technology for mice tagging and tracking is a welcome addition to our offering. In particular, many of our customers are searching for products and methods to improve their efficiency and reduce operating costs. The p-Chip technology fits well with WorldWide's stated goals of providing premium products that help our customers succeed with their work. This is a crucial addition to our product line that will fill a void in our offerings to our research clients"
