PharmaSeq to Deliver Talk at International RFID Conference

Monmouth Junction, NJ, August 2, 2010. PharmaSeq, Inc., announced today that its founder and President, Wlodek Mandecki, will present at the "RFID Europe 2010" Symposium being held in Cambridge, England, on 29 and 30 September 2010. His presentation is part of the session on Security and Tracking using RFID.

Dr. Mandecki's paper, which is titled "Light-powered Microtransponders for Miniaturized RFID Tracking and Authentication" will provide an overview of the Company's patented technology known as p-Chips for use in various tagging and anti-counterfeiting applications. Specific applications that will be addressed include small laboratory animals such as mice, specimen containers for storing biological or pathology samples, managing insect collections, and other areas. p-Chips are light activated RFID chips that are smaller than traditional devices, less inexpensive and easy to use. Their characteristics overcome many of the challenges facing other technologies or solutions in this field, such as reliability and cost.

Richard Morris, CEO of PharmaSeq, Inc., remarked: "PharmaSeq's p-Chips are being increasingly used in a broad range of fields to provide a highly reliable, cost-effective solution for tagging and tracking both live and inanimate objects. In particular, they are providing solutions that enhance accuracy and reliability while decreasing operating costs".
